Our Policies

The following policies apply to all adoptions:

Although you may provide a wonderful home, we only sell our gliders to homes within legal areas.  We do not sell to anyone living in an illegal are, including but not limited to AK, CA, GA, HI, MA, NYC and PA.

Deposits & Payments

All deposits are 
non-refundable!
  

Deposits and payments may be made in the form of PayPal or cash unless other arrangements have been made.


A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the price of a joey is required to hold a joey until completely weaned.  The balance of the joey and shipping fee will be due one week before shipping if the joey is to be shipped or at the time of picking up the joey if the joey will be picked up at our home.  

Receiving Your Joey

All joeys must be picked up or shipped within two weeks of being weaned unless other arrangements were agreed upon before a deposit was made.  Joeys not picked up or shipped within this two week time period will be subject to a $25 per week fee to help cover the cost of care.  We also reserve the right to keep your 
non-refundable deposit and relist the joey if this requirement is not met (unless other arrangements were made).

Shipping

We only ship to legal states within the continental US.  Shipping is available on  Wednesday or Friday, through Continental Airlines, at the buyers expense, for $175.  The price of shipping includes an inner travel cage and an outer shipping crate.  If Continental Airlines does not fly into your nearest airport, we can arrange shipping through other airlines for a $275 shipping fee, which will also include a Health Certificate and, if needed, a Certificate of Acclimation.  

Health Guarantee

All of our gliders will come with a 72 hour health guarantee.

Gliders must be taken into the vet for a health check within 48 hours of receiving or immediately if the glider is showing any signs of illness.

All fees, tests and vet bills are the responsibility of the new owner unless noted below.  If requirements are not met, we reserve the right to void your health guarantee.

Should your glider become ill within 72 hours due to parasites or similar conditions that are directly related to our establishment, plus the glider has not been exposed during that period to any other gliders or animals, we will pay the vet bills directly related to the medical condition.  A medical exam will be required by a qualified vet to prove illness.

Should your glider pass away within the 72 hour time period due to parasites or similar conditions that are directly related to our establishment, plus the glider has not been exposed during that period to any other gliders or animals, you have the right to receive a refund or your choice of another available glider of equal price.  A necropsy would need to be done by a qualified vet to prove cause of death was related to our establishment.  We will only be responsible for the cost of the necropsy if it shows that cause of death is related to our facility.  If necropsy shows that death was caused in any way by the new owner, the new owner will be responsible for all medical fees.

Trauma, stress related illnesses, and bacterial infections related to stress, are NOT covered.  Should symptoms arise, new owner is responsible to get the glider to the vet immediately.  All vet bills incurred for stress related illnesses will be the responsibility of the new owner.

This guarantee does not cover accidents, neglect or mistreatment of any kind.






Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel an adoption, for any reason, at any time before the glider leaves our facility.  If we back out of a sale, the buyer will receive a complete refund.  If the deposit was received through PayPal, the refund will be issued through PayPal.  Otherwise, the refund will be mailed back to the buyer in the form of a personal check.
